KENT COUNTY, MARYLAND

MUNICIPALITIES

Kent County has five municipalities: Betterton, Chestertown, Galena, Millington, and Rock Hall. Of these, Chestertown, the county seat, is the oldest, incorporated in 1805. Later, Galena formed its own government in 1858, as did Millington in 1890, Betterton in 1906, and Rock Hall in 1908.
